I use music as my diary. I’m not terribly good with words, so I use melody to express myself. I use sound as a therapeutic outlet for emotions and feelings. Even though there are few lyrics, I wear my feelings on my sleeve. It’s the only place I’m able to open up completely. Sometimes, I find my listening to Post-Rock that is overly depressing sounding, and its good to balance that out with records that are more "lighter" sounding. It just lifts me up so much! I love how hopeful this record feels to me.
