Maybe now I can sleep Maybe now I can dream Wandering and distancing I can feel my heart fade away Maybe now I can find some peace Maybe now I can be me You’re trapped under this hateful sun You’re face down in the filthy mud You get reckless when you love yourself Without my words digging in your brain Your wings would melt I told you, you’re a coward I told you, you’re a snake I told you, you’re a liar I told you, you’re a mistake I don’t believe you I don’t need you You are not the king of me I am the master of my fate I am the captain of my soul You cannot control me You cannot break me Happiness is my goal You are not the king of me I will not bend, I will not break You cannot hurt me no matter how hard you try ‘Cause I am me And that’s alright

No War 03:33
Why must we fight?
Why must we kill each other?
What are you trying to prove, old man?
What's in it for you? What do we have to do to convince you
That what you're doing is wrong? Why have you decided to hurt these poor people?
Why have you ordered to kill?
What ever did those poor people ever do to you personally? What can we do to convince you to stop?

I was apprehensive releasing such personal songs, but the act of letting go is part of the therapeutic process. ... more
