lyrics

Maybe in my next life I will wonder
Who I used to be
Will I be proud in my heart?
Will I see?
Will I remember the lives I touched?
Will they remember me?
When I look into the mirror
Who will I see?

When I'm alive next time will I wonder
What came before me?
Did I do my part?
Did I succeed?
Will I remember all my struggles?
Will they be plain to see?
Will I know that I did my best?
The best I could be...

Will I know I lived my best life?
Will I see I did everything to be me?

Maybe in my next life I will wonder
What I used to be
Was I friendly, was I smart?
Was I one to agree?
Will I remember the people that I helped
If I even helped at all?
I hope that I will remember
I hope I'll know it all

Will I know I lived my best life?
Will I see I did everything to be..
Will I know I lived a good life?
Will I see I was a great person to be?

Even though there are few lyrics, I wear my feelings on my sleeve. It’s the only place I’m able to open up completely. I was apprehensive releasing such personal songs, but the act of letting go is part of the therapeutic process. ... more
